THE SECRET OF THE DOUBLE TOMB
Lord Paul URBAIN de FLEURY had the strange particularity of having two tombs in the Rennes-les-Bains cemetery*.
Paul URBAIN de FLEURY (1778-1836), son of Paul François, Vincent de FLEURY, and of Gabrielle d’HAUTPOUL de BLANCHEFORT (third daughter of Marie de Negre d’Ables), is in direct descent from the lords who succeeded the Faydits (D’ANIORT) at the time of the Albigensian Crusade.
The first of his tombs bore the following inscriptions:
CI GIT PA CI GIT PA
UL URBAIN UL URBAIN
DE FLEURY DE FLEURY
NE LE 3 MAI DECEDE LE
1776 7 AOUT
1836
(born 3 May 1776) (died 7 August 1836)
The second tomb bore the following inscriptions:
IL EST PASSE EN FAISANT LE BIEN
(HE WENT THROUGH LIFE DOING GOOD)
Restes transférés
de Paul-Urbain comte de FLEURY
décédé le 7 août 1856
à l’âge de 60 ans
(died 7 August 1856 at age 60)
It is obvious there is a mistake, concerning either the age of the deceased or the date of death.
To this day, these anomalies have never received a satisfactory explanation, and it has been assumed that the epitaph is linked to possible membership in the ROSICRUCIANS or the FREEMASONS.
According to Marc RAMBIEL, "CAHIERS DE RENNES-LE-CHÂTEAU" n° 9, p. 39:
"We know the names of the rank of Beneficent Knight of the Holy City, from 1778 up to the middle of the nineteenth century. No Paul-Urbain de FLEURY has ever appeared."
OUR INTERPRETATION:
It is based on the solution of a puzzle.
Attention is deliberately drawn to the words "TOMBE", "DEUX" (two), and the "EPITAPH"
The puzzle must read literally:*
1° - TOMB
2° - TWO (DEUX)
3° - JESUS (il est passé en faisant le bien = he passed in doing good).
“Jesus of Nazareth, who went from place to place doing good..."
Acts of the Apostles 10.(3
The puzzle must read phonetically:
1° - TOMB
2° - OF (DE)
3° - JESUS
NOTE
The process used by the Marquis de Blanchefort is not new, and is hidden in the landscape...
In Genesis 28.(1 , Jacob put up a stone to mark the site of the House of God, which he called Beth-El.
According to BOUDET (page 163), the menhirs indicated the proximity of a tomb.
"Salvayre" means saviour and designates Jesus.
If we link the two menhirs of Peyrolles and Aleth by a straight line, we see that it passes through the church of Saint Salvayre; the three aligned points express the following message:
TOMB - TWO- JESUS
